Accel-backed Scripbox elevates Mohankumar Swaminathan to Chief Product Officer

Digital wealth management firm Scripbox, which is backed by investors including Accel, has promoted Mohankumar Swaminathan as its new Chief Product Officer.

In his new role, Swaminathan will oversee product development, long-term strategy, and innovation initiatives aimed at enhancing the platform’s wealth management offerings and overall user experience.

Swaminathan has been part of Scripbox since 2016, beginning his journey in a growth-focused role before taking on responsibilities across business, product, and customer acquisition functions.

Most recently, he served as Head of User Acquisition, where he helped strengthen customer engagement, streamline onboarding, and build internal marketing technology capabilities.

Founded in 2012, Scripbox provides digital wealth management services to retail, affluent, and high-net-worth individuals across India.

Last month, the company acquired Bluechip Capital’s mutual fund distribution business.

Scripbox reported a profit of Rs 12.7 crore in FY25, while its operating revenue rose 27% year-on-year to Rs 107.2 crore.
