Before the sale, Actis held a 4.58% stake in Pine Labs as of March 2026.

Private equity investor Actis has trimmed its stake in payments company Pine Labs by selling shares worth Rs 151.6 crore through a bulk market transaction.

Actis Pine Labs Investment Holdings Ltd sold 98.28 lakh shares at Rs 154.25 each. The transaction represents around 0.86% of its total shareholding.

Before the sale, Actis held a 4.58% stake in Pine Labs as of March 2026. The investment firm had first backed the company in 2018, leading an $82 million funding round that brought Pine Labs close to unicorn status.

Other investors of Pine Labs also sold their shares in the company in recent weeks after the mandatory six months lock-in period for pre-IPO investors ended last month.

In May, Altimeter Capital partially exited Pine Labs by selling 1.56 crore shares while Madison India Capital offloaded nearly its entire holding.
