Bessemer Venture Partners has appointed former Elevation Capital investor Mayank Khanduja as a partner in its India team.

In his LinkedIn post, Khanduja said that at Bessemer, he will invest at the early stage across AI, consumer and healthcare sectors.

Khanduja brings 15 years of investment experience in India, having previously spent nearly 15 years at Elevation Capital. During his tenure at Elevation Capital, he invested in startups across consumer tech, gaming, healthcare, AI and deeptech, including ShareChat, NoBroker, PlaySimple Games, Jeh Aerospace, MOC Cancer Care, Loop Health, Atlys, Seekho, General Autonomy and PierSight.

Before joining Elevation Capital, Khanduja worked with McKinsey.

Bessemer has been investing in India for more than two decades. Its portfolio includes companies such as Swiggy, Urban Company, Medi Assist and Perfios.

In March 2025, Bessemer announced a $350 million second India fund focused on sectors including AI, fintech, enterprise technology, healthcare, consumer and cybersecurity.
