CheQ elevates Bipin Toro, Vished Banger as co-founders

Toro has been appointed Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) while Banger has been named Co-founder and Chief Business Officer.

Fintech startup CheQ has elevated senior executives Bipin Toro and Vished Banger as co-founders, recognising their contributions to the company's growth since its early years.

Toro, who has been leading the engineering function, has been appointed Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He has been responsible for building CheQ's technology infrastructure, scaling its platform and strengthening its product and engineering capabilities.

Banger has been named Co-founder and Chief Business Officer (CBO). In his new role, he will continue to oversee business strategy, financial planning, operations, partnerships and organisational growth.

Founded by Aditya Soni, CheQ started as a platform for credit card bill payments and has since expanded into utility bill payments, credit tracking services and rewards-based financial products.

The leadership changes come as the Bengaluru-based fintech continues to scale its business. In a recent LinkedIn post, founder and chief executive Aditya Soni said the company had reported its first full year of profitability in FY26 and crossed $42 million in annualised revenue. Soni also said the company has processed over $7 billion in credit card and utility bill payments, built a lending business with over $150 million in disbursals, and crossed $250 million in wallet transactions.
