Wealth-tech and brokerage startup Definedge has raised Rs 22 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by existing investors Nitin Agarwal and D Prasad.

The funding round also saw participation from new investors Anant Jain and Sachin Kasera.

The fresh capital will be used to strengthen Definedge’s technology infrastructure and low-latency execution capabilities. The company also plans to scale its flagship trading platforms, Zone and Opstra, expand Algostra into a no-code retail algo-trading platform, and further develop Momentify into a broader wealth-creation platform.

Founded in 2021 by Prashant Shah and Rajesh Badiye, Definedge operates a full-stack wealth-tech ecosystem with over 14 platforms catering to trading, investing, research, and financial education. Its portfolio includes Opstra, Zone, Algostra, Momentify, and Gurukul. The company says Momentify has crossed Rs 1,000 crore in assets under management and aims to reach Rs 5,000 crore in AUM over the next 24 months.

The company had previously secured its first institutional and angel funding round in November 2025 from investors including Hemant Luthra, Ajay Srivastava, D. Prasad, Nitin Agarwal, and Madhusudan N. Sarda.

The fundraise comes amid strong investor interest in India’s wealth-tech and brokerage sector. Recent deals in the segment include Centricity’s $27 million funding round and Navi’s $100 million investment from Prosus.
