Moneyview raises Rs 327.5 crore from anchor investors

Digital lending platform Moneyview has raised Rs 327.5 crore from anchor investors ahead of its Rs 1,092-crore initial public offering (IPO), which opened for public subscription on September 24.
The Bengaluru-based fintech allotted 9.63 crore equity shares at Rs 34 apiece, the upper end of its IPO price band, to a bunch of anchor investors on September 23.
The anchor book saw participation from large domestic mutual funds including SBI Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund and Quant Mutual Fund. Goldman Sachs, Amundi Funds, 360 ONE, HDFC Life and India Acorn Fund were among the other institutional investors.
Moneyview has set the IPO price band at Rs 32-34 per share. The issue will close on September 28 and comprises a fresh issue of Rs 750 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of around 10.04 crore shares, worth Rs 341.6 crore at the upper end of the price band.
Of the fresh issue proceeds, Rs 325 crore will be used to support loan disbursals under default loss guarantee (DLG) arrangements, while another Rs 250 crore will be invested in its NBFC subsidiary Whizdm Finance to strengthen its capital base. The remaining funds will be used for general corporate purposes.
The fintech reported Rs 3,351.2 crore in revenue and Rs 244.1 crore in profit after tax in FY26. In the quarter ended June 2026, revenue rose 50.2% year-on-year to Rs 1,041.1 crore, while profit increased 158.8% to Rs 173.8 crore.
Founded by Puneet Agarwal and Sanjay Aggarwal, Moneyview operates a digital financial services platform that connects users with banks, NBFCs, insurers and other financial institutions. Its offerings include personal loans, insurance, credit cards and digital gold.
