Mswipe Technologies, a digital payments company, has received the final approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to function as a payment aggregator across both online and physical payment channels.
The authorization also allows the Mumbai-based company to process cross-border payments for both inbound and outbound flows from India.
In its financial results for the year ended March 2024, Mswipe reported adjusted profitability and operating revenue surpassed Rs 275 crore.
The company's total payment volume more than doubled year-over-year, driven by expanded merchant adoption of its unified offline and online payment infrastructure.
Recently, several firms including Paytm, Razorpay, Easebuzz, PayU, Pine Labs, and Airpay have obtained online, offline and cross border payment aggregator authorizations from the RBI.
