Seeds Fincap raises Series B funding led by Michael & Susan Dell Foundation

Seeds Fincap, a non banking financial company (NBFC), has raised over Rs 100 crore in a Series B funding round led by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation.

Existing investors Z47 and Lok Capital participated in the round along with Norinchukin Capital and Alteria Capital.

Seeds Fincap will deploy the fresh capital to enter new markets and expand its branch network. The company also plans to strengthen its technology and risk management infrastructure. It is targeting Rs 1,000 crore in assets under management (AUM) by March 2027.

The company was founded in 2021 by Subhash Chandra Acharya, Avishek Sarkar and Sumeet Dhall. Acharya is the Co-Founder, Managing Director and CEO, while Sarkar is the Co-Founder and Whole-time Director. Acharya studied at Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur.

Seeds Fincap provides loans of Rs 50,000 to Rs 10 lakh to underserved MSMEs and small businesses. As of August 2026, it had 164 branches, over 70,000 active members and Rs 722 crore in AUM.

The latest Series B round comes after Seeds Fincap raised Rs 50 crore in a Pre-Series B round in 2025 from Z47 and Lok Capital, along with Norinchukin Capital and Alteria Capital. Before that, the company secured more than $8.5 million in a Series A round in 2024, co-led by Lok Capital and Matrix Partners India, now known as Z47.
