Stripe appoints Manish Maheshwari as India head for revenue and growth

09 Apr 2026, 12:29 PM

Previously, Maheshwari has held senior leadership positions at Twitter India, Flipkart, and Intuit.

Global financial services company Stripe has named Manish Maheshwari as its Head of Revenue and Growth for India.

In his new role, Maheshwari will focus on supporting Indian businesses that are building products and services for global markets, with a particular focus on the new wave of AI companies that are scaling internationally from day one, it said in a statement.

Maheshwari brings more than two decades of experience spanning technology, internet platforms, and the startup ecosystem. Previously, he has held senior leadership positions at Twitter India, Flipkart, and Intuit. He has also ventured out on his own. Most recently he founded Fanory.ai, an AI-driven platform focused on creator monetisation.

"Manish brings deep experience across the Indian technology space, and we’re excited to have him lead our efforts to enable these businesses," said Paul Harapin, head of Asia Pacific & Japan at Stripe.

Maheshwari noted that India is fast becoming a critical launchpad for global companies, especially in AI and digital-native sectors, and that Stripe's infrastructure is well-positioned to help these businesses monetise and scale across borders.

Stripe also said it is doubling down on its Bengaluru operations, which has grown into one of its largest and most rapidly expanding hubs worldwide. The company plans to continue investing in its engineering, operations, and go-to-market functions in India.
