Google has said it is rolling out Gemini to the Google TV Streamer, allowing people to use their voice to access content.
This is an upgrade from Google Assistant, said Google in a blogpost.
This is part of the larger plan of Google to replace Google Assistant with Gemini across all its devices and platforms.
It also sought to sell the upgrade as advocating educational on TV rather than just entertainment.
"Bring learning to the largest screen in your home, from explaining school topics to your child... to guiding you through DIY projects or recipes, complete with YouTube videos," it explained.
The feature will be available in select countries, languages and to users above 18, it added.
Earlier in September, Google had said that it was introducing Gemini for Google TV to select TCL devices.
