AI startup Simplismart said it has raised $14 million in a Series B funding round led by Dallas Venture Capital.

The funding round also saw participation from Nvidia, Accel, Shastra VC and Micromax.

Simplismart will use the fresh capital to expand in the US, grow its team and develop its AI inference software to optimise GPU usage and reduce computing costs.

Founded in 2022 by former Oracle engineer Amritanshu Jain and former Google engineer Devansh Ghatak, Simplismart offers a platform to deploy and manage AI models, optimise performance and reduce computing costs across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

Simplismart said its modular inference engine optimises AI model components for different workloads, while its orchestration platform manages deployment and scaling. The startup added that it is developing a dynamic GPU scheduling layer to match computing capacity with demand across regions, time zones and workloads, while meeting compliance requirements.

The startup revealed that its annualised revenue run rate has grown 14-fold over the past six months, with companies such as HeyGen, Higgsfield, InVideo, Shiprocket, Apna and Ema using its platform to run production workloads across video, voice, multimodal and enterprise AI applications.

The startup also said that Simplismart’s engineering team works closely with Nvidia Solutions Architects, with both teams coordinating technical efforts. Nvidia also facilitates industry connections as Simplismart expands its engagement with enterprises and cloud providers.

Earlier in 2024,, Simplismart raised $7 million in a Series A funding round led by Accel to accelerate AI infrastructure, inference optimization, R&D, and growth.
