Peak XV offloads Rs 1,756 crore worth of Groww shares via bulk deal
Earlier in May, the venture capital firm sold 6.2 crore shares in a transaction valued at nearly Rs 1,116 crore.

Venture capital firm Peak XV Partners has reduced its stake in stockbroking platform Groww by selling 1.47% of the company through a bulk market transaction worth approximately Rs 1,756 crore.
According to NSE bulk deal data, Peak XV Partners Investments VI-1 sold 9.17 crore shares at an average price of Rs 191.49 per share. As of June 2026, the investor owned a 15.68% stake in Groww.
The deal follows a series of stake sales by Groww’s early backers. In August, Y Combinator exited a 1.2% stake valued at about Rs 1,435 crore, while Ribbit Capital sold shares worth around Rs 2,217 crore. Combined with Peak XV’s latest transaction, investor exits in Groww have crossed Rs 5,400 crore since August.
This is not Peak XV’s first partial exit from the company. Earlier in May, the venture capital firm sold 6.2 crore shares in a transaction valued at nearly Rs 1,116 crore.
Groww's operating revenue rose 66% year-on-year to Rs 1,501 crore in the June quarter and net profit also increased to Rs 735 crore during the quarter.
