The Bengaluru-based company said the initiative will benefit 199 individuals, including 73 existing employees and 126 former team members.
The company’s net profit increased around 25% to Rs 294.9 crore during FY26 from Rs 236 crore in the previous fiscal.
The company posted a net profit of Rs 112.5 crore in FY26 against a net loss of Rs 145.5 crore in the previous financial year.
The company narrowed net loss by 87% during the period to Rs 6 crore.
The ESOP buyback will benefit more than 500 former and current employees of CoinDCX.
Total expenses of Paytm declined to Rs 2,175 crore during the quarter as compared to Rs 2,220 crore in Q3 FY25.
The initiative allows current and former employees with vested stock options to monetize their holdings.
This comes as employee stock options at Paytm have been under regulatory scrutiny over the past year.

Around 1,000 employees from the company's 12,000-strong workforce are currently eligible to participate in this buyback initiative.
No remuneration was paid to non-executive directors at Paytm for the financial year 2024-25.
"We undertook broader strategic organisational restructuring, impacting around 16% of our workforce, including a small number of early-career employees," the company said.
The Gurugram-based fintech claims that the employee embezzled the funds from August 2023 to September 2024 by altering merchant details.
