The funding round also witnessed participation from several industrial entrepreneurs and existing investors, including Nikhil Sawhney and Varun Agarwal.
More than 65% of the commitments for the first close came from overseas Limited Partners (LPs), or investors.
The fund is anchored by Self-Reliant India Fund, HDFC Asset Management Company, and HDFC AMC Select AIF FoF.
Turtlemint remains the only fintech investment that Blume Ventures has taken from seed to the public markets. But it is not the only bet from which the VC has generated liquidity.
The funding round also saw participation from existing investors Claypond Capital and SMBC Asia Fund.
Jitendra Gupta, founder, Jupiter Money, also invested in the round in his personal capacity.
Earlier, the startup had raised $5.5 million in seed funding round from Bessemer Venture Partners, Uncork Capital, and Shopify CEO Tobi Lütke.
The funding round saw participation from 8i Ventures, along with angel investors including Meesho founders Vidit Aatrey and Sanjeev Barnwal.
The funding round was raised at a valuation of $500 million.
